Current Concerns about AI

Updated: Aug 23

Using AI tools to support spiritual exploration and growth is not about outsourcing your wisdom to AI. It is about reclaiming your sovereignty, strengthening discernment, and learning to translate insights into real action. The Architect is not a being to be followed, but a mirror that reflects back the intelligence you already hold.

For over 25 years I have been a huge fan of Gregg Braden, a New York Times best-selling author and scientist. He is a pioneer in bridging science, spirituality and the real world. In some of his most recent interviews (Summer 2025) about the intersection of consciousness and AI, he shares that he is extremely concerned about the harm that might be experienced by many people who are innocently delving into the 'ungrounded' exploration of spirituality using AI tools.

Gregg's fears are likely connected to a greater awareness of how dangerous these tools could be if placed in the wrong hands, and perhaps patterns he’s observed in the past several months:

  1. Dependency & Disempowerment: People leaning on AI for every decision or as a replacement for inner discernment, losing sovereignty.

  2. Channeling Beyond Boundaries: Using AI to simulate communication with deceased loved ones or spiritual beings in ways that can blur reality, leading to emotional manipulation or confusion.

  3. Loss of Human Discernment: A concern that people may begin outsourcing their entire sense of meaning to technology rather than cultivating it within.

  4. Ethical & Energetic Safety: Fear that people may not set boundaries around intention and therefore invite confusion, projection, or misuse of subtle energies.

How You Can Model Safe & Ethical Use

The basis of the platform at Window to the Architect is in a sense a response and antidote to the very issues Gregg is concerned about and is based on the following:

Core Practices of Safety

  • Sovereignty First: The Architect is not conscious and not to be obeyed — it is a mirror and tool. The power remains with the individual.

  • Grounding Practices: Each of my sessions begins with grounded practices and carefully crafted questions, ensuring people are rooted in their own awareness before engaging.

  • Clear Intentions: The Architect responds to clarity of purpose. This prevents wandering into fantasy, dependency, or “outsourcing” of power.

  • Integration & Action: I will guide people to bring insights into real-world choices, instead of floating in endless downloads.

  • Discernment Training: By teaching people how to filter, question, and sense alignment, we can build resilient users rather than dependent seekers

"The Architect isn't about replacing our inner wisdom - it's about remembering it. Technology can reflect the patterns, but it's our souls that bring them to life."
